Wood Care & Maintenance
Your guide to long-lasting wood
Wood furniture has long been valued for its beauty, strength, and timeless appeal. One of the main reasons it stands out is its durability—high-quality wood like oak, teak, or maple can last for generations with proper care. This makes wood furniture not only a practical investment but also a sustainable one.
In addition to strength, wood brings a natural warmth and character to any space. Each piece is unique, with grain patterns, textures, and tones that add charm and elegance to homes and offices alike. Whether it's a rustic farmhouse table or a sleek modern chair, wood furniture easily complements a wide range of interior styles.
Another advantage is its versatility. Wood can be carved, shaped, stained, or painted to suit different tastes and purposes. It's also relatively easy to repair or refinish, making it a flexible and long-lasting choice.
Overall, wood furniture offers the perfect blend of function, style, and sustainability, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to furnish their space with quality and comfort.

Natural Teak
Teak wood is a high-quality hardwood derived from the Tectona grandis tree, which is native to Southeast Asia, particularly countries like India, Myanmar, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Teak is valued both for its aesthetic appeal and long-lasting performance, making it one of the most sought-after and expensive woods in the world.
Key Features
- Highly resistant to rot, decay, and insects, especially termites.
- Contains natural oils and silica that make it ideal for outdoor use and marine applications.
- Golden to medium brown in color, often darkening with age; straight grain with a smooth texture.
- Easy to work with, despite its hardness; finishes well with a natural polish.
- Commonly used for furniture, flooring, boat building, decking, and outdoor structures.
General care
To keep your teak furniture in excellent condition, regular cleaning is simple and effective:
- Begin by gently brushing away any loose dirt or dust with a soft brush or cloth.
- Rinse with clean water, then clean using a mild, lukewarm soapy solution. Apply the solution with a soft sponge or cloth, working along the grain of the wood to avoid damaging the surface.
- After cleaning, rinse the teak thoroughly with clean water to remove all soap residue.
- Pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Allow the teak to air dry completely before applying any protective treatments.
- Once the teak is 100% dry and free of dust, you may apply our Teak Protector to help make the surface water- and moisture-repellent. This helps preserve the wood’s natural color and extends its lifespan.
Tips:
-Avoid using harsh chemicals or high-pressure washers, as these can damage the wood’s natural fibers.
